Japanese Drugstore Makeup Brands Part2

This time I will show you other 5 popular Japanese drugstore makeup brands. These are big brand in Japan as you can find them in most of all drugstores in Japan. However unfortunately they don't have English sites because they aren't sold in foreign countries, and you cannot get enough informative product descriptions and reviews. So I hope this would help you know and get interested in some of them. I'm creating a page for my personal shopping service which allows you get more Japanese beauty products even any online stores don't carry. It's going to open pretty soon!

Visee (in Japanese)
(image from www.visee.jp)
Visee is very famous cosmetic brand from Kosé in Japan but not known well in the world yet so I don't find many product reviews in English and even English official website or any referable sites in English. The most popular items of Visee are eyeshadows. Visee is now carrying 6 different kinds of eyeshadows since 2011. I have Glam Shade Eyes PU-7 (review here) and Blackish Forming Eyes in B-1 (review here) and those were released in 2011 and in 2009 but are long selling ones and still available in drugstore.

Lavshuca debuted in 2006 produced by Kanebo which seems as Majolica Majorca of Shiseido. Lavshuca looks really cute and all products come in pink/purple packaging. Lavshuca's main products are lipsticks/lip glosses such as Jewelry lips (review here) and Dramatic Memory Rouge (review here). Second key item of Lavshuca is Eyeshadow palette (review here). Check out more of their products on the website. Here lipseye shadows, and blushes etc.  I am sorry that It is only in Japanese but you could see how they look like.

Customer Reviews

These brands above are not worldwide brand yet so I don't see many reviews for various products, however I could say most of their products perform very well considering the price. I've never experienced of purchase with full disappointment. Drugstore cosmetics are absolutely inexpensive, so I don't hold back to purchase and try out new products. Recently, many makeup brands release not only low-price but high quality products so it's been very competitive. What's interesting about these brands are that Japanese cosmetics brands have their each spokesmodels. Mostly they are fashion models who are popular for girls, and those spokesmodels really affect the brand marketing. I'm going to share with you Maquillage, Aube, Coffret d'or, and Esprique on next post!

Thank you for reading!

Coco :)

  3. Hello. Would you know any Japanese products to give a V-line shape? And also any popular diet supplements since I've been busy with school? Thanks~ ^^

  4. Hi Knomjean! Thank you for dropping by!
Well, is a V-line shape for face? Then, a V-line face roller (links below) would be great to sharpen your chin and jaw line. As for the diet supplements, I recommend "Calorie Limit" by Fancl which is now one of the most well-known diet supplements in Japan. Hope this helps you! ;)
